Al-Ihsan Girls' School
(Education Support from Pre-K to Grade-8)
School Curriculum
Curriculum followed by Pre-KG and KG: Special customized curriculum for Nursery and KG since there is no prescribed syllabus or curriculum for “K” level.
Curriculum followed by the school section (Grade-1 to Grade-8): National Curriculum of Bangladesh.
Quran Memorization: Students from Grade-1 to Grade-4 Memorize the Al-Quran.
Arabic & Islamic Studies
It is one of the key objectives of the school to teach authentic Islamic knowledge. They learn how to read and write in Arabic. They also learn different Fiqh, Masnoon dua, Mas’Ala during the Arabic period. A separate teaching pool with core Arabic and Islamic knowledge are responsible for teaching Arabic and Islamic Studies.
Vocational Training
To make the students fit to live, students receive vocational training at Al-Ihsan school. There are some promising students who are already earning by the means of this vocational training. Moreover, some ex-students are employed at the school to produce different hand-made products that are being sold in the showroom at Dhaka.
Computer Training
Students get basic computer training in the school computer lab. The computer lab is equipped with laptops and a multimedia projector.
FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH TO ALL STUDENTS
All the students are provided FREE lunch during school days (Saturday to Wednesday). The management tries to keep the food nutritious by consulting nutritionists and local doctors. For example, the students eat fish, beef, egg, khichuri, dal, and vegetables in different days.
Science Lab
The school a dedicated science lab for the students to learn the science projects practically.
School Library
The school has a separate library for the students. Various types of books are there for the students. They can study books here and take books to their home as well.
EDUCATION FOR ELDERLY WOMEN
Since the beginning of Al-Ihsan, the organization has been keen to provide basic education to the elderly women. In a few cases, some poor women are provided with transportation facility to travel to Al-Ihsan.
Annual Sports
Each year Al-Ihsan arranges Annual Sports events at the school. Different sports events are being held on the Annual Sports day. Al-Ihsan committee invites local government authority and Chairman of the Union join the sports day.
Free Study Material Distribution
Each year Al-Ihsan distributes free study materials among the students from Pre-K upto Grade-10.
Free Uniform Distribution
Al-Ihsan distributes free school dresses among the students each year.
Stipend to Monthly Achievers
Students receive stipend from school on monthly basis based on specific benchmark set by school. The successful achievers get stipend from school. This is just to motivate the students to do better in their studies.
DISTRIBUTION OF QURBANI MEAT
During the Eid-ul-Azha, Al-Ihsan arranges Qurbani meat distribution activities among the students of Al-Ihsan school and poor people of the locality. People from different parts of the world and from Bangladesh assign responsibilities of arranging their Udhiya to Al-Ihsan and distribution among the needy.
Tree Plantation
Al-Ihsan distributes tree plants among students to keep the environment green around their house.
Free Medical Treatment
All students of Al-Ihsan are entitled to receive free treatment. In most of the cases, they are being treated in local government hospitals. In emergency cases, sick students are brought to better hospitals in the capital, Dhaka.
Transport Service for Distant Students
During rainy season Al-Ihsan share the transport cost for the students coming from distant places.
Free tutoring at students home during natural disaster
During any natural disaster like Covid-19 lockdown, our teachers visited the students’ house and tried to support them to continue their studies.
