Students of Grade-8 and Grade-7 prepared some food items as part of their Practical Assessement on the subject “Livelihood”. All the students have have successfully passed the test, Alhamdulillah.

Quiz competition - by BRAC

A quiz competition was organized at Al Ihsan School by the BRAC. Grade-7 to Grade-9 students participated in the quiz.

Sharing food with junior students

Senior grade students shared their cooked food with the junior students of the school. It was such a joyous occasion to see each one smiling with delicious food from the senior sisters.

Student commuting service during flood and monsoon season

During the monsoon season, children from the swamp areas attend school by traveling through flooded zones. The school bears the cost of commuting to school, so that students can continue their education without disruption.

Students Excel in Practical Computer Class

On 29th September, a computer practical exam on Microsoft PowerPoint was conducted. From Grade VII, Group B-2 (Karima Akter, Nusrat Jahan Amena, Nadia Akter, and Rimu Akter) secured the first position with their presentation on “The Human Body.”
In Grade VIII, Numaisa Islam Jannat claimed the first spot, while Hafsa Akhtar took second place. Their topic focused on Google Docs and Forms.

These students showcased their creativity and technical skills, standing out in the competition.

Orphanage Section

Celebrating Knowledge Across Grades

A quiz competition was held for Orphanage students from Grade Noorani 1 to Grade Nahbemir. One winner from each class was awarded a gift, recognising their knowledge and performance.

Honoring the Top Hifzul Quran Students

Eighteen students are currently enrolled in the Hifzul Quran program. Among them, Dola Akter secured the 1st position, Lisa Mone earned 2nd place, and Sumi Akter came in 3rd.

These students have shown remarkable dedication in their journey of memorizing the Holy Quran.

Celebrating the Top Performers in Computer Operation

A computer practical exam was conducted, and Nurjahan Islam Jannat secured the 1st position. Mahi Akhtar achieved 2nd place, while Halima Akhtar earned the 3rd spot.

These students demonstrated outstanding skills in the practical, showcasing their knowledge and expertise in computing.

In the Orphanage section, new curriculum books were distributed across all classes, ensuring that students have the resources they need for their educational journey.

10 New Orphans Joined the Orphanage from Flood-Affected Areas

Ten new students from flood impacted regions have recently joined the orphanage section. These children, coming from the hardest-hit areas, now find refuge and support at Al Ihsan.
