School Curriculum
- Pre-KG & KG: a specially customized curriculum, since there is no prescribed national syllabus for the "K" level.
- Grade-1 to Grade-8: the National Curriculum of Bangladesh.
- Quran Memorization: students from Grade-1 to Grade-4 memorize the Al-Quran.
Arabic & Islamic Studies
Teaching authentic Islamic knowledge is one of the school's key objectives. Students learn to read and write in Arabic, along with different Fiqh, Masnoon Dua, and Mas'ala during the Arabic period.
A dedicated teaching pool with core Arabic and Islamic knowledge is responsible for this curriculum.
Free Vocational Training
To make the students fit to live, they receive vocational training at Al-Ihsan school at no cost. There are promising students who are already earning by means of this training. Some ex-students are employed at the school to produce hand-made products that are sold in the showroom at Dhaka.
Free Computer Training
Students get basic computer training free of charge in the school's computer lab, which is equipped with laptops and a multimedia projector.
Free Breakfast & Lunch to All Students
All students are provided free lunch during school days (Saturday to Wednesday). Management keeps the food nutritious by consulting nutritionists and local doctors — students eat fish, beef, egg, khichuri, dal, and vegetables on different days.
Free Science Lab Access
The school has a dedicated science lab, open to every student at no cost, where they learn science projects practically.
Free Library Access
The school has a separate library stocked with various types of books. Students can study here, and take books home as well, all free of charge.
Free Education for Elderly Women
Since the beginning of Al-Ihsan, the organization has been keen to provide basic education to elderly women at no cost. In some cases, poor women are even provided transportation to travel to Al-Ihsan.
Annual Sports
Each year Al-Ihsan arranges Annual Sports events at the school, free for every student to join. Different sports events are held on Sports Day, with the local government authority and the Union Chairman invited to join.
Free Study Material Distribution
Each year Al-Ihsan distributes free study materials among students from Pre-K up to Grade-10.
Free Uniform Distribution
Al-Ihsan distributes free school dresses among the students each year.
Stipend to Monthly Achievers
Students receive a monthly stipend based on specific benchmarks set by the school. Successful achievers are rewarded to motivate everyone to do better in their studies.
Distribution of Qurbani Meat
During Eid-ul-Azha, Al-Ihsan distributes Qurbani meat free of charge among students and poor people of the locality. Donors from Bangladesh and around the world entrust Al-Ihsan with arranging their Udhiya and distributing it to the needy.
Tree Plantation
Al-Ihsan distributes tree plants free of cost among students to keep the environment green around their homes.
Free Medical Treatment
All students of Al-Ihsan are entitled to free treatment. Most are treated at local government hospitals; in emergencies, sick students are brought to better hospitals in Dhaka.
Transport Service for Distant Students
During the rainy season, Al-Ihsan shares the transport cost for students coming from distant places — ensuring floods and monsoon roads never stand between a child and her classroom.
Free Tutoring at Students' Homes During Natural Disaster
During natural disasters like the Covid-19 lockdown, our teachers visited students' homes and supported them in continuing their studies — at no extra cost to families.
